While fans of the Christmas film knew that the late Alan Rickman’s character Harry would not be acknowledged and Emma Thompson would not be returning as Karen, they were not expecting Billy Mack’s manager Joe to be absent too.
Billy (played by Bill Nighy) and Joe (Gregory Fisher) did not appear together in the Red Nose Day Actually reboot as the manager was killed off in a cruel twist.
The singer was left to explain his sad departure as he chatted to a Radio Watford presenter in a bid to sell his new single.
When asked why Joe was not with him, he explained he had suffered a heart attack before paying tribute to his friend.
